New Hyundai NEXO Now Available to Order: 826 km Range, Smarter and Safer Than Ever

The next generation of the Hyundai NEXO has arrived. As of today, the fully redesigned hydrogen-electric SUV is available to order in the Netherlands, boasting a driving range of up to 826 kilometres (WLTP) and a host of innovations that take hydrogen mobility to the next level.

More Range, More Power

The new NEXO features a completely redesigned drivetrain. The fuel cell now delivers 110 kW (+16%) and battery capacity has doubled to 80 kW, resulting in a total system output of 150 kW. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 7.8 seconds. Refuelling takes approximately five minutes, with an enlarged tank capacity of 6.69 kg of hydrogen. The new 'Wake Up' technology ensures faster fuel cell response even during cold starts.

Smart and Connected

The NEXO comes equipped with e-Handling for improved grip and steering response, a Smart Regenerative System that automatically adjusts regenerative braking based on traffic conditions, over-the-air (OTA) updates and Digital Key 2 for access via smartphone or Apple Watch. Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality allows the car to power external devices. A first for a hydrogen vehicle: a towing capacity of up to 1,000 kg in the European specification.

Five-Star Safety

The new NEXO achieved the maximum five-star rating from Euro NCAP, scoring 90% for adult protection and 85% for child protection. The comprehensive Hyundai Smart Sense package includes lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, a 360° camera and much more.

Price and Trim Levels

The new NEXO is available in two trim levels from € 72,495, or through Hyundai Business Lease from € 949 per month (excl. VAT, 60 months / 10,000 km per year).
